After the huge success of the Deadwood and Community alignment charts, I decided to try one for what was, in my opinion, one of the best new shows of last year. Hopefully the next season starts up soon!
Notes:
- I had a really tough time finding someone from this show to fill the alignment of Lawful Good. Something about the fact that everyone’s a gangster on this show, I guess. I went with Angela Darmody, but wouldn’t you know it, there aren’t very many quotes of hers floating around out there, especially not ones that aren’t in relation to Jimmy. Rectify this.
- I left out the lovely Lucy Danziger and Chalky White, because other people fit the roles they’d slot in to better, at least I thought so. They’d be CN and NE respectively, I think. Chalky, especially, had some good quotes, though. “These here my daddy’s tools…”
nucky is definitely a CN and jimmy isn’t neutral evil at all. this one sucks but your deadwood one is pretty good
Thanks for your comment! I was probably looking on the bright side when placing Ol’ Nucks as NG, that’s true. The Palladium Alignment System would probably be a better fit for Boardwalk Empire to be honest, as pretty much everyone on this show falls into some sort of neutral alignment realistically, but the meme is all about D&D-style so there you have it. I’ll admit I haven’t seen any of the new season yet, but I think I put Jimmy as NE because he’s kind of an asshole in my mind? I hear he gets better, smarter maybe is the better term. It’s actually been so long since I did this one that I can’t really remember to be honest.
After season 2 Esther Randolph is clearly the ultimate LG in the series and Owen should probably replace Harrow for TN and Harrow replace Eli for LN
I haven’t gotten around to watching Season 2 yet, but thanks for ruining the whole thing! Jk, Jk. I might take another crack at it though after. It’s nice to see characters evolve, you could probably do a new chart each year.
