The Spoiler Show Episode 8 – We Talked About The Batman

UPDATE: In light of the horrific and senseless tragedy in Colorado on Friday, our hearts go out to the victims and their families. I delayed this episode coming out because I didn’t want to be the guy talking about the fictional world of Batman in the face of real world trauma and pain. I am going to the movie theatre three times this weekend, nothing is going to change the way I feel about a place I consider to be a second home. Please take the comments we make about the Nolan films and their contributors with a grain of salt as you listen this week.

This week on The Spoiler Show, Marcus and I were joined by Torrey Dance, the aforementioned Batman of Morrisey Facts, and we talked about the extremely timely subject of Batman, the puncher of faces and solver of crimes. In what has become a recurring theme of the show, we each look at our personal histories with the Dark Knight, and which eras are our favorites. We also speculate wildly as to what’s going to happen at the end of the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy, spoiling some of his other films (THE PRESTIGE, mostly) in the process.

So like I said, we spoiled a little bit of the ending of THE PRESTIGE, as well as some major events arising in Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s current run on BATMAN. Other than that I think we’re fine.
